The most emblematic sports club in the municipality is the Associació Esportiva Pallars, which has specialized in river and mountain sections. There is also a football club, Club de Futbol Sort, a basketball one, Club de Bàsquet Sort- Pallars Sobirà, and the mountain biking one Club Ciclisme Matraca- Bike.
At the high school in Sort, there are two bachelor’s degrees devoted to sports training: a superior one to become a Technician in Sport and physical activities, and a medium degree, to become a Technician in Development of activities in natural environments. |
